Mini-bio
Nicholas Jonas is a talented singer, songwriter, actor,
and performer. At the young age of eleven he has already starred
in four Broadway shows, numerous commercials, and a variety of
recorded works.
His Broadway credits include the role of Gavroche in the Tony
Award winning production Les Miserables. He also starred as Chip
in Beauty and the Beast, Little Jake in Annie Get Your Gun and
Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol - the Musical at Madison A
Square Garden.
In November of 2003, INO Records received a demo with Nicholas
singing a Christmas song named “Joy To The World (A Christmas
Prayer)”. With short notice, INO serviced this song to
Christian radio and received overwhelming support. Stations all
over the nation embraced Nicholas and brought his song into heavy
rotation.
After seeing this response from radio, INO Records and Columbia
Records partnered together and signed Nicholas to the next step
in his career, a recording contract. Nicholas is currently in
the studio finishing up his debut release.
Nicholas is also the founder of The Nicholas Jonas Change For
The Children Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to
the needs of abused, homeless, and terminally ill children. He
started this effort after seeing a homeless family on the streets
of New York City. His heart is to see children touched through
the efforts of other children, including his talented friends
in the child-acting Broadway community.
Nicholas’ father, Kevin is one of the founders of Christ
For The Nations Music and is currently serving as a Pastor in
Wyckoff, NJ.
