Letter from Pastor Kevin Jonas

Dear Friend,
I am writing to you as a father and pastor of Nicholas Jonas. I know him better than anyone except the Lord.

When Nicholas was a small boy I knew that there was something special about him. He had a great voice. He possessed a dramatic talent. He was as cute as you could imagine. But the greatest thing about Nicholas was his heart. He truly loves the Lord. His talent belongs to God. His words are born in relationship to the Savior. He has a deep passion for the Lord that touches all those around him.

Last year, so many stations played our song, "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)." People from all over the nation wrote us. We heard from children, parents and grandparents. There were messages from cancer victims and child advocates. There were letters from members of the church community as well as those outside our community. Some families decided to give money to missions and ministries instead of spending it all on themselves. Each night I was able to read these letters of encouragement to Nicholas. Christian radio was vitally important in making this happen.

Much has happened over the last year. Nicholas is now signed to INO Records as a recording artist. They have partnered with Columbia Records to impact people throughout the nation. It is thrilling to see the potential.

I am so proud of my son's first release, "Dear God." I truly believe that it will touch listeners with a powerful message from the heart of a child. During the recording we were all in tears as Nicholas sang from his tender heart. I believe it will move you in a similar manner.

May the Lord continue to bless you. We will be praying for you.
